Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 April 2026
These terms govern your use of tryevence.com and any digital guides, workbooks, or other products you purchase from Evence. By using the site or buying a product, you agree to these terms.
Who we are
Evence is operated by Hanssen Ramanjooloo, a sole trader based at 10 King George V Avenue, Mansfield NG18 4FR, United Kingdom. Throughout these terms, "we," "us," and "Evence" all mean the same thing. "You" means you, the person reading, visiting, or buying.
You can reach us at hello@tryevence.com.
What we offer
Digital educational products: ebooks, printable workbooks, and related written content focused on stress awareness and reflective self-care practices. Products are delivered as PDF downloads after purchase. Prices, product details, and refund terms are on the pricing page and refund policy.
Not medical advice
Evence guides are educational. They are not medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in any Evence product is intended to replace the care of a qualified healthcare professional.
If you're in crisis or need urgent support, please contact:
- United States: 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline — call or text 988
- United Kingdom: NHS 111 or Samaritans — 116 123
- Elsewhere: contact your local emergency services or a licensed mental health professional
Please use judgment about what's appropriate for you, and consult a professional if anything in a guide raises concerns.
Your purchase and license
When you buy an Evence product, you're buying a license to use it personally. You can read it, print it, share individual pages with a friend or therapist, and keep it forever.
You cannot resell it, redistribute it publicly (online or otherwise), remove the copyright or branding, use it to train an AI model, or claim the writing as your own. If you'd like to reference or quote it somewhere, email us — we're usually happy to say yes.
Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles taxes (VAT, sales tax, GST) where applicable. You agree to Paddle's buyer terms, shown at checkout, when you complete your purchase.
We offer a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund on all one-time digital purchases. See the refund policy for details.
Your use of the site
You agree not to misuse the site: no scraping for resale, no attempts to break, access, or disrupt systems you're not authorized to use, no uploading harmful code, no impersonation. Standard things you'd expect.
What we can't promise
We work hard on Evence, but we can't promise the site is always available, always perfect, or always right for you. Products are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products.
Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that can't legally be limited. If you're a consumer, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK) or equivalent laws in your jurisdiction are not affected.
Privacy
See our privacy policy for what data we collect and how we handle it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above, and where appropriate, email customers who've purchased from us. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts — unless you're a consumer in another country, in which case you may be entitled to bring claims in your own jurisdiction under local law. Consumer protections in your country of residence apply regardless of the governing law clause.
